We would like to share an important update regarding CANNT membership fees for the upcoming year.

Our membership rates have remained unchanged for over a decade. To ensure CANNT can continue providing high-quality education, resources, and member support, a modest fee adjustment will take effect on January 1, 2026. This increase reflects rising costs and the evolving needs of our community.

Current Membership Fees (until December 31, 2025):

• $80 for a 1-year membership
• $150 for a 2-year membership

New Membership Fees (effective January 1, 2026):

• $105 for a 1-year membership
• $200 for a 2-year membership

We are committed to delivering value to all members. Your CANNT membership includes access to a wide range of benefits, including:

• Collaborative networking and problem-solving opportunities through participation in Special Interest Group (SIG) forums
• Education and professional development, including webinars and on-demand presentations eligible for Continuing Learning credits
• Access to the Vascular Access Education Program (VAEP), created by the Ontario Renal Network in collaboration with the ORN Cannulation Working Group
• Opportunities to contribute to CANNT resources, including Standards of Practice, as well as opportunities to volunteer on committees, working groups, and board positions
• Discounted registration for the annual CANNT Conference and other educational offerings
• Eligibility for CANNT Awards, plus a $50 discount on CNA Certification and Renewal Applications for CNeph(C) candidates
• Access to the CANNT Journal, our quarterly, peer-reviewed publication showcasing excellence in nephrology nursing and technological practice. The Journal is indexed in MEDLINE and CINAHL and is now available as open access online.

CANNT presents awards annually during National Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses and Technologists (CANNT) Conference.

These awards are given for educational or research purposes related to the advancement of nephrology practice. Members may apply for more than one award per year, but will only be able to be the recipient of one award per year. They would still however be eligible for reimbursement from the certification/recertification bursary. Members cannot win the same award in consecutive years.

All awards are subject to the review and discretion of the Awards Committee. If no suitable candidate is identified, the bursary will not be awarded.

Deadline: Applications to the CANNT 2025 Award Program must be received by July 28.
